Wine tasters

wine tasters Wine tasters, or porringers, were invented in England but were soon adopted all over Europe and in North America, especially in Boston and New York. It is a small dish with a tongue-shaped handle which is always richly decorated or covered with open-work filigree. Nowadays, it is well-known because it is what "sommeliers" wear round their necks when they open old bottles of wine.

The shapes of our wine tasters are reminiscent of and inspired by classical tradition: they are crafted from cast pewter. The alloy used satisfies all EEC and USA regulations governing containers for alimentary use.
